The Big Vocal Orchestra at Lido di Venezia

Third edition of the popular appointment at Lido di Venezia with the Big Vocal Orchestra.
On June 21 at 9 PM, an appointment in the square of the Casino Palace at Lido di Venezia for the Summer Festival, the free summer concert offered by the Municipality of Venice and Vela SpA for the Lido community.

The 200 Venetian voices directed by Marco Toso Borella will perform in an exciting concert-show with a varied repertoire spanning different musical genres, designed to make the audience sing, have fun, and be moved. The signature pieces will not be missing, such as songs from the musical The Greatest Showman, masterpieces by Coldplay, the Beatles, Sweet Dreams, and the original version of Carmina Burana mixed with Smells Like Teen Spirit by Nirvana.

Among the new additions, it will be possible to hear the Hymn of San Marco in the original version presented in the Hall of the Great Council of the Doge’s Palace on the occasion of the San Marco Award last April 25, and also the absolute first public performance by the Big Vocal Orchestra of a medley dedicated to David Bowie with the famous Space Oddity, Life on Mars, Starman, and Heroes. All of this, as always, enriched by moving theatrical readings, sparkling choreography, and breathtaking light effects.
