Vocal Skyline will be in concert in Chioggia for PORT DAYS, the event series that opens the ports of Venice, Chioggia, and Marghera to the local community from October 2 to 9. Join us on October 3, 2026, at the Auditorium San Nicolò in Chioggia at 9:00 PM for a concert-show where the voices directed by Marco Toso Borella will lead the audience on a musical journey through imagery and reflections dedicated to the relationship between port activities and the local territory.
PORT DAYS is a national initiative promoted by Assoporti, joined by the North Adriatic Sea Port Authority, with a program aimed at citizens, families, students, and visitors. “Gateway to the Mediterranean” is the theme of the 2026 edition and also represents the key to reinterpreting the relationship between port life and the surrounding area.
Venice and Chioggia are indeed cities whose history, culture, and very urban structure are deeply linked to their commercial and maritime functions.
For centuries, the port has represented an open door to the Adriatic and the Mediterranean for both, a place through which goods, people, ideas, and cultures passed, and around which economic and social relations developed.
As part of Port Days, Saturday, October 3, will be entirely dedicated to Chioggia, with the Harbor Master’s Office – Coast Guard opening to the public for guided tours of the facility, the operations room, and nautical vessels. The Vocal Skyline concert is the perfect conclusion to an entire day dedicated to the relationship between Chioggia and the sea.
