L’Arca dei Sogni di Marco Toso Borella è un messaggio nella bottiglia globale, luogo di salvezza dell’umanità della specie. Intorno si muovono i Leviatani, mostruose creature social che fagocitano e manipolano la comunicazione. Le pale del mulino di Babel sovrastrano l’arca mentre Ulisse legato all’albero maestro ascolta in silenzio tutte le voci intorno.
I due grandi occhi sul fianco dell’arca rivelano il messaggio per antonomasia: il Vangelo, coi simboli dei quattro evangelisti. Sulle pareti dell’Arca spiccano infine le iscrizioni lasciate dall’umanità, come ex voto.
| The Ark of Dreams by Marco Toso Borella is a message in a global bottle, a sanctuary for the salvation of the species. Around it move the Leviathans—monstrous social media creatures that devour and manipulate communication. The sails of the Babel windmill tower over the ark, while Ulysses, bound to the mainmast, listens in silence to all the voices around him. Two great eyes on the side of the ark reveal the ultimate message: the Gospel, bearing the symbols of the four evangelists. Finally, upon the walls of the Ark stand out the inscriptions left by humanity, like ex-votos. |
