Babeleden rappresenta l’esistenza mascherata da torre, a sua volta celata sotto le spoglie di un inoffensivo mulino a vento. Tre ripidi livelli costringono l’umanità a un’ascesa segnata da lotte universali: la preghiera, l’urlo, la fatica stessa del vivere. Al vertice incombe l’illusione del paradiso terrestre, dove la paura della punizione divina arresta ogni ambizione, spingendo figure come Idealicaro verso una fuga utopica attraverso il volo. Alla base, una scacchiera evoca l’eterno conflitto geometrico tra il bene e il male.
Babeleden represents existence masked as a tower, which is itself concealed under the guise of an inoffensive windmill. Three steep levels force humanity into an ascent marked by universal struggles: prayer, the scream, the sheer effort of living. At the summit looms the illusion of earthly paradise, where the fear of divine punishment halts all ambition, driving figures like Idealicaro into an utopian escape through flight. At the base, a chessboard evokes the eternal, geometric conflict between good and evil.
